My Lesson

Yesterday my tutor, Kevin, had come by. He works in the school here at the hospital. Together, we started doing some Khan academy, a website to practice math. I was doing an exercise called "exponent rules" with Kevin. The type was very small, so Kevin was having a hard time reading the exponents. It was actually quite funny, seeing Kevin squinting at the screen, thinking a 7 was a 3 and so on (no offense to you, Kevin). Even he had forgotten some of the things in the exercise, so we slowly went through it together, remembering things, (since I used to be proficient in the exercise, I just messed up and had to restart) and getting things wrong a lot until we finally got 10 correct in a row (you need to get 10 in a row correct in order to become proficient).

For anyone who wants to try Khanacademy, all you need to do is use either your Gmail or Facebook account to log in (no registration required). The website is www.khanacademy.org
